BREAKING NEWS: FCC Passes Strictest Net Neutrality Rules in America

Tom Wheeler, Jessica Rosenworcel, Jessica Rosenworcel

The FCC has just passed strict new rules protecting the free and open internet from greedy money hungry ISP companies. They have reclassified broadband as a utility, preventing the ISP compantings from creating a “internet fast lane”

This is a huge win for bloggers like me and a lot of my friends who push out amazing internet content. It means that our stories, links, posts are all created equal to similar things from Wall Street Journal and The Times. This allows start ups to push their content and information and grow their business without paying for better access.

However, the war is far from over. We have won the battle in the FCC, our next battle grounds will be the courts and congress. ISPs have been lobbying congressmen to pass a bill over turning the FCC ruling. While we still have a long war ahead, we have won the first major long fought battle. So enjoy in internet, we have earned this!!!!
